To downgrade your device to Android 5, you need to follow these two steps.
BE AWARE TO NOT ATTEMPT THIS PROCEDURE IF YOUR DEVICE IS NOT A WETEK PLAY 2! Before you start, please read the entire procedure and if you have any doubts please inquiry all your questions to me before you proceed :) Step 1 * You need to download these files: https://mega.nz/#F!0xhjkThL!2JCAgXaZZfCbQXzNogheDQ Extract it until you get 4 files listed like this (Do not need to be in the same order) .zip file dtb factory_update_param recovery Copy them to a formatted (FAT32) SDcard After you have copied the files to your SDcard, follow these steps: Insert the SDcard with the files in your device. Power Off your device Disconnect your power supply. Underneath your Device, you have an update button (Small Hole) With the update nail provided in your package, press and hold that update button While pressing, connect your power supply Keep pressing the button for 10 more seconds. After the 10 seconds, the installation will start automatically. You can follow this video to help you apply the steps I mentioned above, http://tutorials.wetek.com/tutorial/9 If your device does not boot and is only on a back screen state, do not worry, this is normal. Step 2 will solve this. Step 2 * This is a similar process to the first. But you will need to download a different file now. You need to download these files: https://mega.nz/#!gkRXWCrY!nKSaw3bGT...ldFHbgnd6VBCCg You should get a file like this: - aml_autoscript Copy it to a formatted (FAT32) SDcard After you have copied the file to your SDcard, follow these steps: Insert the SDcard with the file in your device. Power Off your device Disconnect your power supply. Underneath your Device, you have an update button (Small Hole) With the update nail provided in your package, press and hold that update button While pressing, connect your power supply Keep pressing the button for 10 more seconds. After the 10 seconds, your device should enter in the recovery menu. From the recovery menu, you need to select, Wipe Data, Factory Reset. After this, reboot your device. It should now be working properly. If you have any doubts on how to perform this, please do not hesitate to ask. |
